Talks about trusting God and His wisdom. The chapters provided numerous examples of how to apply wisdom in our lives . It so important to seek His instruction and obey his words and voice. Also the chapters illustrated temptations with using parables of men staying faithful to their wives. One verse that continues to stand out for me is Proverbs 5:18. Let your fountain be blessed and rejoice with thy wife of thy youth. For me I think God is telling me to focus on His will, the will/purpose He has for my life is my wife so I have to treat it as such and not get distracted or put anything before it.
I have somethings I struggle with that I know that I need more spirtual growth to combat them. One thing is not being obedient all the time with God's voice. Also not looking at dilemmas that I face as tests instantly. I struggle with that and I lose joy in the process.
I really don't want to go against God's will, and I need more self control in dealing with sudden issues. At times I feel like I'm that person who ignores wisdom when it's shouting in my face.
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs 1:20-22 KJV
I need wisdom in order for me to be successful all around . I don't want to fear sudden problems anymore. I want wisdom to deal with and peace to go through them.
Wow there was alot of scriptures I highlighted while I was reading.
I notice that some teachings were repetitive but used in a different context. I guess it was liked that to drill those teachings in our brains. Sometimes you got to repeat things more than twice so people may truly understand. It has to sink deep. Deep enough so it can penetrate into our soul. That is the only way we are able to apply it to our everyday lives. I loved reading these scriptures especially about being lazy and working hard. It really touched me in alot of ways because I can relate to that. I sometimes find myself in the past getting too complacent and I have to remind myself I have to push harder. I can't be lazy or distracted because I don't have time to waste.
A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense.
Proverbs 12:11 NLT
Yes and I am such a daydreamer it's not even funny but faith with out actions ...doesn't move God.
These teachings definitely Illustrates different lessons and teachings in many areas. Such as giving to the poor, not being stingy, and controlling your anger. Which are areas that I definitely need to strengthen.
A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.
Proverbs 12:16 NLT
It is a sin to belittle one’s neighbor; blessed are those who help the poor.
Proverbs 14:21 NLT
Thank you God for giving me the knowing to study and start this Proverbs journey. I love you!

Entering in a New Season!
It's not easy entering a new season in your life. Sometimes these new seasons, make us feel uncomfortable. We must hold on strong and trust God in the process. Deuteronomy 6:10-11.“The Lord your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give you when he made a vow to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land with large, prosperous cities that you did not build. 11 The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant."
